8 Days in the Pearl of Africa – Day by Day

Day 1 – Upon arrival you will be met and transferred the hotel/guest house, Depending on the flight arrival time (if morning time) you have optional activities for the afternoon, these include: Visiting the Ngamba Chimp island, a walk in the Botanical gardens or the Uganda wildlife education centre. Overnight at the hotel/guesthouse BB

Day 2 - Depart for Lake Bunyonyi, through the highlands with great site seeing en route, after about 6 hours you arrive and cross the lake to Bushara Island, overnight at a lodge/camp FB. – This beautiful island is very relaxing, activities here include a boat ride (if time allows) or a nature walk and you get an opportunity to view local entertainers.

Day 3 – After a leisurely morning you will depart for Bwindi National park/Parc de Volcans, through the highland and valleys of the western part of the country, with view of the well cultivated hillsides, you arrive after about 4hours, here you will stay overnight at a lodge/camp FB

Day 4 – Trek gorillas, an early breakfast after which you proceed to the park offices for a briefing, and then continue on for the trek. We advise you bring with hiking shoes, long pants and long sleeved shirts for the trek. The lodge provides water and a packed lunch for the trekking. The trek normally takes a minimum of 3hours to a maximum of about 8-9hours, depending on the duration of the trek, you may go for a community walk for the rest of the today, and you will overnight as above

Day 5 – Depart for Queen Elizabeth NP, while on the drive through Ishasha the southern park of QE, you may be chanced to view the famous tree climbing lions, continue on with more chances of viewing the game in the park as you drive on to your lodge/camp. Stay for the night at the lodge/camp FB

Day 6 – While at QENP, you will go on a game drive; with an opportunity to view Lions, Buffaloes, most of the antelopes, Elephants and the rare giant forest hog many more, and again while on the Kazinga Channel boat cruise, you will not miss the hippos, and the enormous birdlife, which includes Albertine Rift endemics and many migrants.

Day 7 – After your breakfast you will return to Entebbe, a lunch stop and curio shopping en route; then you will stay at the hotel/guest house for the night BB

Day 8 – Depending on you flights, you may for a city tour or any other optional activity as may be required, otherwise you will be transferred to the airport in time for you departure flight.
