Coffee is the world’s most popular non alcoholic beverage after water. Uganda is ranked world producer of coffee producing an estimate of 2 million bags annually fetching a rough estimate USD 600 million at the heart of USD 90 billion world industry. Most of the coffee is produced by 1 million peasant farmers on small land holdings averaging 0.3 hectares.

 

7:00-7:30am, you will be picked from your hotel to 100cups coffee House Plot 18 Buganda road.

7:30-830am, you will assemble for breakfast at 100cups coffee House Plot 18 Buganda road.

9:00-9:30am, Coffee-tasting and evaluation. Uganda coffee development Authority 9:45-10:45am, Visiting to a coffee grading and processing plant
10:30-11:15am, visiting the coffee roastry
12:00-12:30pm, listen to the coffee researcher Kituuza coffee research station. 12:30-1:00pm, Bulansuku farm estates, Mukono District.

1:00-2:00pm, lunch break at Bulansuku Farm Estates (Traditional Buffet)

2:00-3:30pm, at the farm participatory activities including coffee planting, coffee picking, pulping, drying etc. Thereafter clients can participate visiting to farming communities, biking, donkey rides, coffee bush and forest walks, bird watching, and farm games

4:00-50pm coffee break and evening drive back to Kampala and drop off at any place as you may have discussed with the guide
