Day 1: Kampala-Kibale National Park

Depart from Kampala to Kibale Forest National Park. Late afternoon birding at the park entrance, and the surroundings areas.

Day 2: Kibale National Park

Full day in Kibale Forest, apart from its amazing birding, it’s home to an astonishing 12 species of primate and provides one of the highest primate densities in the world. Here, on our guided forest walk, we may find families of chimps and red colobus monkeys chattering and swinging through the ancient forest trees. Kibale with its ancient trees up to 55m in height is a wonderful place to experience at first hand the extraordinary diversity of life in a tropical rainforest. We’ll also have the opportunity to a guided walk through the Bigodi swamp.

Red-winged Francolin, Red-chested Flufftail, White-nape Pigeon, African Pitta, Joyful Greenbul, Grey-winged Robin,Abyssinian Ground Thrush, Grey-throated flycatcher. 335 species & over 144 butterfly species.

Day 3 -Kibale National Park-Queen Elizabeth National Park

After an early morning walk in the Magombe swamp, drive to Queen Elizabeth National Park for birding around Lake George and the Mweya Peninsula, you will have lunch and go on the launch on the Kazinga channel this afternoon the must see include Shoebill, Martial Eagle, black-rumped buttinquail, African Skimmer, Verneaux’s Eagle owl. The channel has an enormous birdlife not found elsewhere in the country.

Day 4 –Queen Elizabeth National Park -Ishasha Section

An early start for the drive to Ishasha through the Maramagambo- Kigezi area; check in at The River Ishasha. After a short relaxation you will go for a late evening birding walk.

Day 5 - Ishasha Section-Bwindi National Park (Buhoma Section)

After an early morning game drive - maybe a chance to see one of the rare tree-climbing lions, travel to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park - a treasure chest of flora and fauna and the richest forest in East Africa. Home to the rare Mountain Gorilla, 357species,Albertine Rift Endemics-Red throated Alethe, Archers Robinchat, Rwenzori Batis and Strange Weaver, coloured Bush-Shrike and many others.

Day 6 – Bwindi National Park(Buhoma Section)

Day 7 –Bwindi National Park(Buhoma Section)-Ruhija Section

Another full day’s birding tour to Ruhija at the Mubwindi Swamp.

Day 8 – Bwindi National Park (Ruhija Section) Lake Mburo National Park

Leave after breakfast and drive to Lake Mburo National Park, here the park’s lovely landscape is complemented by Lake Mburo itself and four smaller lakes, beautiful and tranquil surroundings where you’ll see impala, eland, klipspringer, waterbucks, zebra and buffalo.

Day 9 -Lake Mburo National Park

Full day birding at Lake Mburo; after a picnic lunch we’ll take a canoe trip in the afternoon to see kingfisher, heron and other water-birds, Your guide will keep you safe distance from the hippo and crocodiles!.You will not miss out also on the following: African Finfoot, brown-chested Plover, Southern ground Hornbill, Spotflanked, Red-tailed and black collared Bardets, White-winged Warbler, Papyrus Yellow Warbler. There 315 species found in this park.

Day 10 –Lake Mburo National Park -Kampala

Morning at leisure, and return to Kampala this afternoon
