Day 1 – Upon arrival you will be met and transferred to a hotel/guest house – (Depending on flight times, there are optional activities today, which include visiting the Uganda wildlife Education centre, a walk in the Botanical gardens or a trip to the Chimp island)
Day 2 - Depart for Jinja en route you will drive through the famous Mabira Forest well known for its various tree species and bird life, overnight at lodge/hotel FB – you will arrive in time for lunch.
After which you will visit the source of the Nile and the famous Bujaggali falls. Other Optional activities in Jinja, horse riding, water rafting, Quad biking and Bungy jumping; these you can choose what may interest you to do and pay for directly.
Day 3 – Depart for Murchison Falls NP, you will stop over at Masindi town for lunch and a stretch then continue to the park. In the park you will go via the top of the fall, and then proceed to a lodge/camp. You will stay here for the two nights FB.
Day 4 – An early breakfast at about 6am in the morning, after which you go on the game drive, where you will have an opportunity to view the big game, which include giraffes, lions, elephants and a numerous number of antelopes. you will see the rare Ground hornbill among the many species of birds in the park.
After lunch you will go on the boat cruise to the bottom of the magnificent Murchison Falls, en route you will not miss the crocodiles, hippos and more birds. Return to the lodge/camp for the night FB
Day 5 –Today you will depart for Fort Portal, lunch to en route; after about 7 hours drive you will be checked in at a hotel/guest housel. Here you will stay for two nights FB
Day 6 – After breakfast, you will go on a forest walk, from which you will be able to see about 10 different primate species – this may include the chimpanzees. (But there is an optional chimpanzee trek available). You then go for a swamp walk later this afternoon, where birds are beauty, and the site seeing is exciting! Return to the hotel/guest house for the night FB
Day 7 – Early morning departure, you will go via the hot springs believed to heal any disease by the locals! And you will proceed to Queen Elizabeth NP; here you will stay at a lodge FB.
Day 8 – Still another early morning, for you to go on the Chimpanzee trek at Kyambura gorge, and an afternoon cruise on the Kazinga channel, well known for its enormous birdlife and schools of hippos. Then if time allows you will go on a late afternoon game drive. Return to the lodge for the night FB.
Day 9 Travel to Bwindi NP/ Rwanda Parc de Volcans, (border crossing – visa fee of $60 is required & re entry to Uganda $50 – if you do not have multiple entry).You will stop over for a lunch break, and you will arrive at the lodge/hotel late afternoon. You will stay at the lodge for two nights FB, you guide will brief you about the gorilla trek for the next day.
Day 10 – Trek Gorilla today – an early breakfast after which you proceed to the park offices for a briefing, then continue on for the trek. We advise you bring with hiking shoes, long pants and long sleeved shirts for the trek. After lunch you will cross back to Uganda and proceed to Lake Bunyonyi, overnight at a camp FB
Day 11 – A leisurely morning on the Island, or a nature walk and then depart for Entebbe, you will arrive late evening and you will stay again at the hotel/guest house BB
Day 12 – Depending on the flight time, you may go for a half day birding around Entebbe, otherwise you will be transferred to the airport in time for departure flight.
