8 days – Lake Mburo, Bwindi & QENP
Day 1 – Upon your arrival, you will be met by your driver-guide, and transferred to the hotel, in Entebbe. There are activities in Entebbe that you can engage in doing if your flight arrives during the day. There you can inquire/discuss with your guide and choose what will be most convenient given the time; payable for directly. Stay for the night at Airport view guesthouse BB.
Day 2 – After breakfast, you will depart for Lake Mburo park, after lunch – hereafter you will get onto the boat ride on the lake and then a late afternoon game drive, the animals in this park are exciting to watch during sundown! Return to the lodge for the night. Overnight stay at Lake Mburo Safari lodge FB
Day 3 – Transfer to Bwindi national park, known for the famous impenetrable forest, and habitat to the mountain gorillas. You will arrive in time for a late lunch, relax for the rest of the evening or if keen you can go on the village walk, where you get to learn about the local communities. Overnight stay at Rushaga gorilla lodge FB
Day 4 – Gorilla trek – An early breakfast today, at the park starting point you will be briefed and then start the trek. It’s advisable to bring with you a small backpack to carry your personal items – sun lotion, sunglasses, lunch pack (provided by the lodge). Hiking shoes, long pants, and a long-sleeved shirt, a hat, and a light rain jacket are good to consider for the trek. Overnight stay as above
Day 5–After breakfast, depart for Queen Elizabeth Park, a game drive as you drive through, here you may get chances to site the tree-climbing lions, normally located in the southern section of the park. A picnic lunch will be arranged by your guide, continue with the game drive onto the lodge. Overnight stay at Kingfisher lodge FB
Day 6 – Today you will have a chimpanzee trek at Kalinzu forest or Kyambura gorge, a tour of LakeKatwe “salt lake, and a boat cruise along the Kazinga channel – a mass of water joining Lake Edward and Lake George locally referred to as the “twin lakes” – Overnight stay as above.
Day 7 – A leisurely return to Entebbe, a stop at the Equator. Overnight stay at Airport guesthouse BB
Day 8 – Given your departure time – you may do any of the optional activities in Entebbe – payable for directly. Otherwise, you will be transferred to the airport in time for departure.
